The first bag lasted me two weeks because I kept rationing it, that's how good this is. There's a real depth to it that you don't get from most supermarket beans, and knowing it's from a small cooperative up in Concepción Huista makes the morning ritual feel a bit more meaningful.
I usually buy single-origin stuff from big roasters, but this one from a small Guatemala cooperative has a richness that feels more honest, if that makes sense. The highland altitude really comes through in the clean, steady finish.
The notes are exactly what I hoped for—that highland Guatemalan terroir really comes through in every cup. It's become my morning ritual, and knowing it's from a small farm in the CODECH cooperative makes it taste even better.
